Just 2,730 bottles exist of Monopole Clásico Gran Reserva 2017, a Viura-based white Rioja matured for almost seven years in three barrels and three sherry butts before bottling in October 2023.
Luis Gutiérrez of Wine Advocate gives it 95 points: "It has a very expressive and different nose, more oxidative and spicier, with more effect from the yeasts, with a touch of honey and also a touch of diesel."
