The 2022 vintage marks the final year Comando G produced this wine, adding significant collector value. Hand-harvested whole clusters undergo natural fermentation in oak vats before aging in French oak foudres, producing wine at 14.5% alcohol.

Tasting Profile

The distinctive slate terroir creates a more powerful, concentrated style with prominent salinity and umami character. Despite higher alcohol, the wine's fresh core perfectly masks the warmth. Perfumed and elegant, the palate delivers remarkable finesse with floral aromatics and refined mineral structure. This fleshy, aromatic expression showcases deeper intensity than village wines while maintaining the signature elegance that defines Comando G's mountain Garnacha.
