This Spain white wine is 100% Godello from vines 45 years old on average. It ferments with natural yeast in used oak barrels, which adds texture without strong oak flavour. Expect ripe orchard and stone fruit, dried herbs and a smoky, mineral edge, with bright acidity and a long, clean finish.
Serve it with roast chicken, mushrooms or octopus. It suits white wine fans who like richer, structured whites, which one retailer compares to white Burgundy.
