Product Description
Egon Müller farms about 8.5 hectares of the 28-hectare Scharzhofberg, a steep, south-facing slope of weathered Devonian slate, with some Riesling vines still on their original 19th-century roots.
Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Spätlese 2025 pairs fresh citrus, green apple and white peach with a thread of honeyed sweetness, driven by lively acidity and a wet-slate finish. Heavy rain in late September and strict selection cut yields to around 20 hl/ha. Wine Advocate scores it 95–96 points.
