Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine from Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon is 100% Chardonnay, grown biodynamically on a high, sunny slope. It ferments with natural yeast and ages in large old oak barrels and steel tanks, so it keeps its fresh, clean fruit. Expect apple blossom, pear, lemon and lime, with a crisp, mineral finish.
A friendly white for weeknight dinners. Try it with roast chicken, grilled fish or goat's cheese, or pour it for Chardonnay fans who like a fresher style than oaky white Burgundy.
