BooChaa Da Hong Pao Kombucha transforms the rich character of Wuyi Mountain oolong into a refined sparkling tea. Guided by a tea-first philosophy, BooChaa uses organic whole-leaf Chinese tea and a slow, 15-day fermentation to develop gentle bubbles, refreshing acidity and layered flavour without masking the tea itself.
Da Hong Pao, or “Big Red Robe,” is an iconic oolong from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian, China. Its distinctive mineral character and depth give this kombucha a bolder, more complex personality.
Expect roasted peanut notes, dried lychee and ripe fruit aromas, followed by floral, honeyed flavours and a refreshing sweet-sour finish. Delicate bubbles lift the rich tea character, creating an elegant balance of depth and freshness. Serve chilled at 2–8°C.
Kombucha also combines tea-derived polyphenols with organic acids produced during fermentation. It may offer digestive benefits, although human research remains limited.
